Our mission at LIBERNETIX is clear: to transform money management by facilitating the free movement of money, secure storage, and long-lasting value. This time, we have an opening in the IT department. For us to achieve our missing we need to integrate into various payment systems, banks, and wallets to be able to accept payments, move money, and keep track of transactions.
Your job will be to lead a team of engineers engineers that build the integrations. You’ll need to get input from the stakeholders on what integrations to build next, analyze if they are usable from the technical point of view, and plan their implementation. You will be also responsible for making sure the integrations work correctly and any problems are addressed quickly. Since we’re dealing with money, this is especially important for us. In general, this is a 30% leadership, 70% engineering job.

Your key results:
- There’s a roadmap of integrations for at least 1 month in advance, and delivery dates are defined and met.
- Delivered integrations are tested before launching on production and monitored on production
- Observability and monitoring systems are in place to fully understand the behavior of the system and be able to troubleshoot issues, there are defined technical and business metrics to monitor
- Automated testing is in place
- Security requirements are met, including PCI DSS compliance for card integrations
- You and your team can make the necessary changes to application architecture (Nest.js) and infrastructure (Docker, AWS with Terraform) and fix any issues
- You and your team collaborate with support engineers, financial analysts, and other stakeholders to implement changes and resolve issues
Your background:
- You have experience in building integrations with payment systems or other financial systems.
- You understand how to design and implement automated testing for integrations, observability, and monitoring
- You have experience with TypeScript, Node.js, preferably NestJS, AWS, Terraform, Docker
- You have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with relational and document databases, queues, and message brokers
What’s important to us:
- You can work remotely, but we’d prefer if you could regularly (e.g. 2-4 times per year) travel to Riga
- We’re a mixed team of Russian and English-speaking people, so you should know both.
